Nigerian business environment is precarious. It's unstable and politicians have too much power. What they do to companies after investing in Nigeria is disconcerting.. They just make up excuses and scrupulous fines to inflate taxes of our companies..There is a serious problem in Nigeria. It's unlike South Africa. Property rights are enshrined the constitution. Environmental laws prohibit large construction that take away community amenities without community consultations. This is crazy.

Lagos, Nigeria is not a good place to invest in.

What country in their right mind would destroy a beachfront that helps to generate money from tourism, which increases the GDP of the country, provides jobs for people, allows people to socialise and enjoy life. Was the government jealous of the success of this? Did they want shares in this venture? How is it that all of sudden the government now cares about building roads, there are other roads with pot holes that have never been fixed. This is crazy.

They move the coastal road from its original design to where landmark was built in other to destroy his business. I was just there in February and was so impressed. I had a wonderful time with my family. This is heartbreaking. Our nigeria is rotten to the core.

My question to him is that, can he try this in United State? Knowingly that the government owns the land where he built the beach front sheds and his building was never demolished. I feel his pain but he is kept saying $200M while his building was not touched and that is the problem I have with him because I was blaming the government before the demolition and come find out that he was not wiped out
